Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – Rural people gave 6.52 scores to Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva whereas people in Bangkok gave 6.05 scores, according to a survey.
Generally speaking, the government passed the test in terms of its performance in the past six months.
The government got 6.39 out of 10 scores.
PM Abhisit scored 7.38 on the scale while the cabinet scored 6.30, according to the Suan Dusit Poll.
With 6.26 scores, the government was sincere to perform its duty, give freedom to civil servants, as well as promote honesty and unity respectively.
Education ministry topped the high performance list, followed by ministry of social development and human security, tourism and sports ministry, culture ministry, and public health ministry. Commerce ministry was at the bottom of the list.
The government was most admired for its free education scheme (53.05%), elders’ allowance giving (21.8%), and 2,000-baht cheque scheme (11.86%) respectively.
However, the government performed poorly in loan borrowing and financial system, economic problem, agricultural sector solving, and influenza 2009 prevention.
