Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – Thai people were most satisfied with the government’s performance in terms of foreign affairs, quality of life, economy, law enforcement as well as national security, according to the Krungthep Poll.
1,337 respondents in Bangkok were surveyed to evaluate the government’s performance in the past six months. They were from all walks of life.
The interesting point was that Thais were more content with the Democrat government than its coalition and opposition party.
Nevertheless, they were slightly satisfied with the opposition party than the coalition party.
As for corruption, respondents were most suspicious about the transport ministry, finance ministry as well as agriculture ministry respectively.
The government was most admired for its careful and compromising approach to solve the nation’s conflict, support for low-income earners, and free education scheme respectively.
However, the government was asked to solve economic problem and support agricultural goods prices, deal with corruption, as well as faster act on problems.
64.5 percent believed the government would do its duty for more than one year whereas 35.5 percent did not believe so.
