Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva planned to discuss the rail investment with China Railway Engineering Corporation’s president during his four-day visit to China.
Abhisit would try to persuade the Chinese railway engineering company to join investment with Thailand since the government wanted to link the regional rail system.
Generally speaking, the premier expected closer trade and tourism ties with the world’s economic power.
Abhisit asked Premier Wen Jiabao to update Chinese people so that they would have a right understanding about and visit Thailand.
In some provinces, the Chinese government did not allow its people to travel to Thailand. Chinese government confirmed it would permit Chinese people to visit Thailand.
