Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva will visit Hong Kong to discuss the investment opportunity in a bid to boost foreign investment here.
Foreign Minister Kasit Pirom revealed that Abhisit would meet more than 200-400 businessmen in Hong Kong on May 15.
The premier would take this chance to discuss the investment atmosphere with fifteen businessmen who are key decision-makers.
Abhisit will also attend the ASEAN-South Korea summit on June 1-2 to mark the 20th anniversary of ASEAN-South Korea ties.
The number of foreign leaders who will attend the summit would be known after the ASEAN foreign permanent secretary summit on May 6-8, according to Kasit.
Thailand earlier announced that the ASEAN Summit would tentatively take place on June 13-14 in Phuket.
Thai government confirmed the most austere safety measures would be applied to ensure smooth summit hosting.
