Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – Less powerful southwest monsoon covering the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand as well as the low-pressure mass in upper Vietnam results in decreasing rain.
30 percent of rain will be in the north, northeast and central region.
In the north, more rain can be seen in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Payao, Nan and Tak whereas in the central region, there will be more rain in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi.
20 percent of rain can be expected in the east, particularly in Chonburi, Chanthaburi and Trad. Waves can be approximately one meter high.
30 percent of rain will be in the eastern south, especially in Chumporn, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phattalung and Songkhla.
In the western south, there will be 40 percent of rain, in particular Ranong, Trang and Satun. Waves can be as high as 1-2 meters.
30 percent of rain can be expected in Bangkok and nearby provinces. It will rain between afternoon and evening.
