Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – Dropping rain results from less powerful southwest monsoon covering the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. Low-pressure mass is still covering the upper Vietnam.
Risk areas include Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Nan, Uttradit, Tak, Nongkhai, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Panom and Kalasin.
People in those areas were warned of flash flood and mountain run-off for one more day.
60 percent of rain will be in the north. Heavy rain will be Mae Hong Son, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Payao, Nan and Tak.
In the northeast, heavy rain can be seen in Nongkhai, Loei, Nongbua Lumpoo, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon and Nakhon Panom.
40 percent of rain will be in the central region.
In the east, 30 percent of rain can be expected. Waves can be approximately one meter high.
40 percent of rain will be in the eastern south, particularly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumporn and Surat Thani.
In the western south, heavy rain will be in Ranong and Phang Nga. Waves can be as high as 1-2 meters.
60 percent of rain can be expected in Bangkok and nearby provinces. The southwest wind travels at the speed of 15-30 kilometers per hour.
