More rain in north than other regions

Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – More rain can be expected in the north than other parts of Thailand since the southwest wind is covering the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand.

70 percent of rain will be in the north. Heavy rain can be seen in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Payao, Nan, Uttradit and Tak.

In the northeast, there will be 40 percent of rain, particularly in Loei, Nongkhai, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Panom and Udon Thani.

40 percent of rain will be in the central region as well, especially in Uthai Thani, Nakhon Sawan, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi.

In the east, it will rain, in particular Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trad. Waves can be 1-2 meters high.

In the eastern south, it will rain, particularly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumporn and Surat Thani. Waves will be one meter high.

20 percent of rain will be in the western south. Waves can be as high as 1-2 meters.

40 percent of rain can be expected in Bangkok and nearby provinces. The southwest wind travels at the speed of 15-30 kilometers per hour.
