Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – The western and eastern parts of Thailand is still facing heavy rain due to powerful southwest which is covering the Andaman Sea as well as the Gulf of Thailand.
Fishermen, particularly small-scale ones, were warned of navigation during June 5-7.
60 percent of rain will be in the north. Heavy rain can be seen in Tak, Lampang and Phrae.
In the northeast, there will be 60 percent of rain as well. Heavy rain can be seen in Nongkhai, Sakon Nakhon and Nakhon Panom.
In the central region, heavy rain will be in Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi.
70 percent of rain will be in the east, especially in Chanthaburi and Trad. Waves can be as high as 2-3 meters high.
There will be 60 percent of rain in the eastern south, in particular Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan.
In the western south, 60 percent of rain can be expected, particularly in Ranong, Phang Nga and Phuket. Waves in the upper Andaman Sea can be 2-3 meters high.
In Bangkok and nearby provinces, there will be 60 percent of rain. Southwest wind travels at the speed of 15-30 kilometers per hour.
