Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – Decreasing rain in Thailand is influenced by the less powerful southwest monsoon covering the Andaman Sea and upper Gulf of Thailand.
40 percent of rain will be in the north, particularly in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Payao, Nan, Uttradit, Phitsanulok, Tak and Phetchabun.
In the northeast, there will be 30 percent of rain, especially in Nongkhai, Loei, Nongbua Lumpoo, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Panom and Mukdahan.
20 percent of rain will be in the central region, in particular Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi.
In the east, 20 percent of rain can be expected as well. Waves can be as high as 1-2 meters.
30 percent of rain will be in the eastern south, particularly in Phattalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Waves can be approximately one meter high.
In the western south, there will be 30 percent of rain, especially in Krabi, Trang and Satun. Waves will be two meters high.
30 percent of rain will be in Bangkok and nearby provinces. Southwest wind travels at the speed of 15-30 kilometers per hour.
