Mountain run-off in eight provinces

Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – Heavy rain can be seen in some areas due to the influence of the low-pressure mass passing the north and northeast as well as the southwest monsoon covering the Andaman Sea and upper Gulf of Thailand.

Risk areas include Nan, Phrae, Mukdahan, Kalasin, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi and Trang.

Small-scale fishermen were warned not to sail during this 1-2 days.

In the north, there will be 70 percent of rain. Heavy rain can be seen in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Rai, Tak, Nan, Phrae and Phetchabun.

In the northeast, heavy rain will be in Nongkhai, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Panom, Mukdahan and Kalasin.

40 percent of rain will be in the central region, particularly in Kanchanaburi, Supanburi and Ratchaburi.

60 percent of rain will be in the east, especially in Prachinburi, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Chanthaburi and Trad. Waves can be 2-3 meters high.

In the eastern south, it will mostly rain in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumporn, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla, Pattani and Narathiwat.

80 percent of rain will be in the western south. Heavy rain can be seen in Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi and Trang.

40 percent of rain will be in Bangkok and surrounding provinces. Raining will be mostly during afternoon and evening. Southwest wind travels at the speed of 15-35 kilometers per hour.
