Thai teenagers have confidence in family’s love

Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – Most of Thai teenagers had confidence in family’s love and living their life following the Buddhist teachings.

Bangkok University surveyed 1,144 respondents aged 15-24 years in Bangkok.

The survey was conducted during March 25-April 6.

Confidence in family’s love topped the list, followed by confidence in living life according to the religious teachings, and confidence in own value as well as ability.

Least confidence was reflected in Thailand’s political system.

26.6 percent of the respondents wanted to see the educational system reform whereas 10 percent thought the right values should be built among teenagers.

Right values included dressing, manner and self-sufficiency way of life.

9.9 percent wanted to see people in the society help one another while 6.9 percent expected the political reform.

6.8 percent said parents should take care of family members whereas 6.4 percent thought economic problem should be solved to create jobs and investment.
