Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – People in three communities have become stressful after violent incidents initiated by the red shirts. Officials gave knowledge about how to get relaxed to help them live their life more happily.
Bangkok Governor Sukhumbhand Paribatra ordered officials to survey the mental health of people in those three communities.
25 percent of 2,071 respondents at Nang Lerng community were under stress whereas 15 percent of 350 respondents at Phetchburi Soi 7 community.
20 percent of 1,179 respondents at Din Daeng flats had the same problem.
Violent incidents took place on April 8-16. 59 Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA)’s closed-circuit TVs were damaged by the anti-government group.
BMA plans to increase the number of closed-circuit TVs to cover inner areas and major routes in Bangkok.
Sukhumbhand admitted the government needed to bring peace and unity back to Thailand soon.
The hotline 1646 is also available to give advices to people who are under stress around the clock.
