Bangkok - The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) uses the closed circuit TVs to keep up with the rally situation and to provide safety for the people.
The People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) demonstrators have gathered at the Makawan Bridge since May 25.
Bangkok Governor Apirak Kosayodhin revealed the BMA coordinated with the Metropolitan Police Bureau to closely keep up with the situation.
The BMA has provided officials, trucks and equipment to ensure people’s safety and serve the situation.
Last night, the number of the PAD demonstrators was about 5,000 according to the police.
Fire, water and light trucks as well as mobile toilet cars were used to provide convenience to the demonstrators.
Officers were also sent to ensure their safety.
Apirak said the closed circuit TVs which are installed in Rajadamnoen and nearby areas can record what happens in those areas all the time.
