Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – The Meteorological Department warned Thai people of flash flood and mountain run-off on July 3-6.
The southwest wind is covering the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. As a result, heavy rain will be seen in some areas.
People in risk areas like Loei and Kalasin were told to closely keep up with the water situation around the clock.
60 percent of rain will be in the north and northeast.
In the central region, 70 percent of rain can be expected. Heavy rain will be in Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi.
There will be 60 percent of rain in the east, particularly in Prachinburi, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trad. Waves can be 1-2 meters high.
In the eastern south, 40 percent of rain can be expected whereas 30 percent of rain will be in the western south. Waves can be as high as 1-2 meters.
60 percent of rain can be expected in Bangkok and nearby provinces.
