Bangkok - Most Thai people were worried that the political conflict would turn Thailand into an uncivilized country, thinking the best solution to the problem was unity.
2,718 Thais were surveyed during August 26-27.
The respondents were from sixteen provinces and closely kept up with the political situation.
79.4% concerned that Thailand would become an uncivilized country due to politics while 61.3% were under stress.
90.8% thought love and national unity would help solve the happening conflicts.
84.6% wanted all parties to believe in the judicial process.
81.7% expected to see a peaceful negotiation between two opposite groups while 78.8% asked all parties to do for the sake of the country.
89.2% still confided in the democratic government and election, despite crises and problems, while 10.8% did not.
56.8% believed the political conflict would be solved peacefully while 4.2% had no hope in the political situation.
