Bangkok - Thai people in Bangkok were stressful because of work and financial problem, according to the department of mental health.
Vicharn Meechainant, Deputy Public Health Minister, presided over the opening ceremony of the metal health week on November 5.
The event will run until November 7. Booths and activities were held to evaluate participants’ mental condition.
2,400 people in Bangkok and surrounding provinces were surveyed since they were amid economic and political stress.
46.9% of the surveyed people were stressful about work and financial problem respectively.
Women were under stress more than men.
People were urged to be mindful, not to get angry at anyone, flexible about different ideas, and turn to positive thinking.
