Rain as well as powerful winds in Bangkok and adjourning provinces

Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – The Meteorological Department warned people in Bangkok and surrounding provinces of powerful winds as well as rain.

The high-pressure mass from China is still covering the central and eastern region of Thailand.

60 percent of rain can be expected in Bangkok and nearby provinces. Powerful winds will also be seen. The lowest temperatures will be 24-25 degrees celsius whereas the highest temperatures 32-33 degrees celsius.

There will be 30 percent of rain in the north, particularly in Chiang Rai, Payao, Nan, Phrae, Uttradit, Phitsanulok, Tak, Kamphaengphet and Phetchabun. The highest temperatures will be 37-38 degrees celsius.

20 percent of rain will be in the northeast, especially in Loei, Chaiyaphum, Amnajcharoen, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Surin, Srisaket and Ubon Ratchathani.

Although it will be hot in the central region, powerful winds as well as 60 percent of rain can be expected, in particular Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chainat, Kanchanburi, Supanburi and Ratchaburi.

60 percent of rain will be in the east, and powerful winds will be seen in some areas such as Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trad. Waves can be 1-2 metres high.

There will be 60 percent of rain in the eastern south. Powerful winds can be seen in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumporn, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat. The lowest temperatures will be 23-25 degrees celsius while the highest temperatures 32-34 degrees celsius.

60 percent of rain can also be expected in the western south, particularly in Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Waves can be 1-2 metres high.
