Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – Rain in many parts of Thailand is influenced by north and northeast winds passing upper Thailand, according to the Meteorological Department.
There will be 40 percent of rain in the north, particularly in Chiang Rai, Payao, Chiang Mai, Lampang, Nan, Phrae, Tak, Uttradit and Sukhothai. Temperature will drop 2-3 degrees celsius.
40 percent of rain can also be expected in the northeast. Heavy rain will be in some areas such as Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Srisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. The lowest temperatures will be 20-23 degrees celsius whereas the highest temperatures 28-34 degrees celsius.
There will be 30 percent of rain in the central region, especially in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi, Lopburi and Saraburi.
40 percent of rain will be in the east. Heavy rain can be expected in Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trad. The lowest temperatures will be 23-25 degrees celsius while the highest temperatures 31-35 degrees celsius.
There will be 20 percent of rain in the eastern south, in particular Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumporn, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Pattalung and Songkhla. Waves can be about one metre high.
20 percent of rain can be expected in the western south, particularly in Phang Nga, Phuket and Krabi. The lowest temperatures will be 23-24 degrees celsius whereas the highest temperatures 32-34 degrees celsius. Waves can be lower than one metre high.
There will be 30 percent of rain in Bangkok and adjourning provinces. The lowest temperatures will be 24-25 degrees celsius while the highest temperatures 34-35 degrees celsius.
