Sweltering north and northeast despite raining

Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – It will swelter in the upper parts of Thailand. However, powerful winds and hailstorm can happen as the high-pressure mass from China is covering upper Thailand.

Thin fog can be seen in the morning and it will be cool in the upper north. Nevertheless, it will be very hot in some areas. The lowest temperatures will be 16-21 degrees celsius whereas the highest temperatures 35-40 degrees celsius.

There will be lot of clouds in the northeast. 20 percent of rain can be expected, particularly in Mahasarakam, Roi-et, Kalasin, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram and Surin.

It will be hot in the central region. 10 percent of rain can be expected, especially in Ratchaburi, Lopburi and Saraburi. The lowest temperatures will be 25-26 degrees celsius while the highest temperatures 37-39 degrees celsius.

30 percent of rain can be expected in the east, in particular Prachinburi, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Chanthaburi and Trad. Waves can be one metre high.

There will be 10 percent of rain in the eastern south, particularly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Surat Thani, Yala and Narathiwat. The lowest temperatures will be 23-26 degrees celsius whereas the highest temperatures 31-36 degrees celsius.

10 percent of rain can also be expected in the western south, especially in Krabi, Trang and Satun. The lowest temperatures will be 23-24 degrees celsius while the highest temperatures 34-35 degrees celsius. Waves can be 1-2 metres high.

There will be 10 percent of rain in Bangkok and adjourning provinces. The lowest temperatures will be 26-28 degrees celsius whereas the highest temperatures 34-36 degrees celsius.
