Hot weather in almost all regions, rain in some areas

Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – It will be hot in the upper parts of Thailand. The south and southeast winds from the Gulf of Thailand will result in rain and powerful winds.

There will be more rain and powerful winds during March 13-15 as the high-pressure mass from China is covering the upper parts of Thailand.

It will be cool in the north. Foggy morning can be seen even though it will be hot during daytime. The lowest temperatures will be 16-23 degrees celsius while the highest temperatures 35-39 degrees celsius.

There will be lot of clouds in the northeast. Powerful winds can be seen as well. 20 percent of rain can be expected, particularly in Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Srisaket and Ubon Ratchathani.

It will be hot in the central region. 10 percent of rain can be expected, especially in Lopburi and Saraburi. The lowest temperatures will be 25-26 degrees celsius whereas the highest temperatures 36-38 degrees celsius.

There will be 20 percent of rain in the east, in particular Prachinburi, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Chanthaburi and Trad. Waves can be approximately one metre high.

20 percent of rain can be expected in the eastern south, particularly in Surat Thani, Songkhla, Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat. The lowest temperatures will be 23-26 degrees celsius while the highest temperatures 31-35 degrees celsius.

There will be 40 percent of rain in the western south, especially in Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Waves can be about one metre high.

10 percent of rain can be expected in Bangkok and surrounding provinces. The lowest temperatures will be 26-28 degrees celsius whereas the highest temperatures 34-36 degrees celsius.
