Hailstones partly in north and northeast

Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – The high-pressure mass from China is coming to the South China Sea and eastern part of Thailand. Powerful winds and hailstones will be seen in some areas.

Even though it will be hot in the north, powerful winds can be seen. Hailstones will be in 10 percent of the areas such as Nan, Uttradit, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun.

It will be hot in Bangkok and adjourning provinces. 10 percent of rain can be expected. The lowest temperatures will be 25-27 while the highest temperatures 35-37.

Powerful winds will be seen in the northeast. 40 percent of rain can be expected, and hailstones will be in some areas, particular in Nongkhai, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Panom, Mukdahan, Ubon Ratchathani, Yasothorn, Surin and Srisaket.

It will be hot in the central region. 10 percent of rain can be expected, especially in Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi. The lowest temperatures will be 23-25 whereas the highest temperatures 36-38.

There will be 30 percent of rain in the east, in particular Prachinburi, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Chanthaburi and Trad. Waves can be approximately one metre high.

40 percent of rain can be expected in the eastern south, particularly in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Pattalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. The lowest temperatures will be 23-24 whereas the highest temperatures 32-35.

There will be 60 percent of rain in the western south, especially in Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. The lowest temperatures will be 23-24 while the highest temperatures 33-34. Waves can be 1-2 metres high.
