Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – Thousands of red-shirted people gathered at Sanam Luang, waiting for more supporters to join their rally. The group already moved to the Government House at 11 AM.

Thousands of red-shirted people who appeared on February 23 joined people from the northeast to wait for their leaders before marching to call for their proposals from the government.

Kwanchai Praipana, leader of the Khon Rak Udon group, led about 300 people to join the red shirt people in Bangkok early in the morning.

Kwanchai confirmed his group got no support from any political parties or MPs and would go back to the Sanam Luang after the rally finished. The group reportedly planned to go back to Udon Thani this evening.

Chatuporn Prompan, organizer of the Truth Today program, announced on the stage that the red shirts' rally needed not to be obstructed by the police or the group would move to Phetchaburi instead.

Chatuporn said his group would close four sides of the Government House, but would not enter the premises.

23 companies of Metropolitan police officers and soldiers have already safeguarded the Government House.

The red-shirted people earlier submitted four proposals to the government. They urged the government to take action against the People’s Alliance for Democracy demonstrators and remove Foreign Minister Kasit Pirom from his post within 15 days.

Besides, they also called for the use of the 1997 constitution to replace the 2007 charter and demanded immediate parliament dissolution after the 1997 constitution was implemented.
