Bangkok - The economic problem solving will be discussed at today’s special cabinet meeting. Measures will be sought to reduce the impact of higher cost of living on people.
Commerce Minister Mingkwan Saengsuwan, Finance Minister Surapong Suebwonglee, Energy Minister Poonpirom Liptapanlop and Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Somsak Prisananantakul will join to discuss the issue.
Measures will be sought to help the low-income earners and SMEs.
The topic of retired and unemployed people will also be raised at today’s meeting. But the details are not disclosed.
Transport Minister Santi Prompat said the energy prices would be discussed at the economic minister meeting this evening.
The transport ministry plans to propose the use of natural gas in public buses to reduce dependency on diesel oil.
