Bangkok - The cabinet resolved unanimously to let the Council of State decide whether the three ministers should stop doing their duties or not.
Somsak Prissanananthakul, Deputy Agriculture Minister, revealed the cabinet meeting agreed to let the Council of State determinethe three ministers’ fate.
The three ministers were accused of corruption charges in the two-three-digit lottery case.
They are Finance Minister Surapong Suebwonglee, Labor Minister Uraiwan Thienthong and Deputy Transport Minister Anurak Jureemas.
The Supreme Court yesterday decided to accept the case against them.
The ex-premier Thaksin Shinawatra was also sued in the lottery case. The first hearing will take place on September 26.
It was reported no minister in Samak government advised against their duty performing.
