Bangkok - The online lottery scheme will be proposed to finance ministry this week. It will also be submitted to the cabinet next week.
Wanchai Surakul, acting director of the Government Lottery Office (GLO), revealed the GLO board already concluded the distribution process of the online lottery.
The issue would be considered by finance ministry this week. It would also be proposed to the cabinet next week.
Online lottery tickets will first be available on September 17 through 6,000 lottery vending machines nationwide.
The minimum purchase is 40-1,000 baht.
Special and jackpot prizes are also offered to attract buyers.
When a purchase is higher than the minimum prize, a computer will immediately stop selling the lottery tickets.
The qualifications of the bookmakers will be determined on August 11 through the GLO’s website.
About 300,000 bookmakers will be recruited on August 18-20.
