WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A magnitude 5.9 quake struck off Greece on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
It said the quake, quite shallow at a depth of only 6.2 miles below the seabed, was centered in the Ionian Sea, 94 miles west of Patras.
The quake struck at 7:25 a.m. (12:25 a.m. EST).
