Shanghai, CHINA - The moon (top) partially covers the Sun during the longest solar eclipse of the 21st century in Shanghai.

People in Shanghai braved the rain to watch the eclipse only partially visible due to heavy cloud.

Dhaka, BANGLADESH - People use X-rays to help filter the Sun as they view the longest total solar eclipse of the 21st century in Dhaka.

The eclipse was 93 percent visible from the Bangladeshi capital, while the best vantage point was in the northern town of Panchagarh where some 100,000 flocked to the region.
