Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – Metropolitan police put off the plan to repair bridges throughout Bangkok for two months without giving any reasons.
Bridge repair was supposed to take place on June 1.
The repair plan is to fix and improve the road surface, seam, structured rubber sheet as well as the drainage system.
Repair areas are divided into three groups.
The first group is Prachanukul intersection, Wongsawang intersection, Kaset intersection, Ratchayothin intersection and Pongpet intersection.
The second group includes Tha Phra Bridge and Bangplad Bridge.
The third group consists of Rama IX-Ramkhamhaeng, Rama IX-MCOT, Asoke flyover, Din Daeng intersection and Rama IV.
The longest repair will take 45 days whereas the shortest one 15 days. Bridges in the same group will undergo reparation simultaneously.
