Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched the package tour campaign for Japanese women to search for their soul mates in Thailand, hoping the new strategy will boost the tourism sector.
The campaign is to persuade Japanese women to search for their right men according to their birthdays.
Important religious places will be emphasized.
Japanese women’s attitudes are currently changing. Most of them want to get married and become housewives more.
The campaign is expected to attract single Japanese women, especially the teenagers.
The number of Japanese tourists dropped 20-30 percent in the first quarter of this year due to negative factors such as bad economy and politics.
The campaign will be promoted in August-September when the TAT is going to hold its booth in Osaka.
