Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – 56.9 percent of Thais have not decided yet which political party they are going to choose in the next election.
NIDA surveyed 1,921 respondents about New Politics Party (NPSP) and political party choice.
25.8 percent of the respondents went for the Democrat Party whereas 10.1 percent supported the Puea Thai Party.
Only 5.2 percent selected the New Politics Party as their political party choice.
40 percent agreed to the establishment of the New Politics Party while 47.5 percent disagreed.
32 percent of the respondents in Bangkok and nearby provinces backed the new political party setup.
64.1 percent had no idea about who should be the leader of the NPSP whereas 26.5 percent said Sondhi Limthongkul should take the post.
62.8 percent believed that the government would not be able to solve the economic problem and the country’s economy would not pick up within this year.
