Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – It is believed that police will not be able to arrest the culprits in the assassination case of Sondhi Limthongkul, one of the leaders of People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD).
Many people went to sign the visitor’s book at the Chulalongkorn Hospital this morning.
“I was frightened and very sad to learn that Mr. Sondhi was shot during his way to the office. I personally believe there will not be much progress in arresting the gunmen,” said Mrs. Ploenta Pattanasuwan, business owner.
Many parties thought the assassination was politically motivated.
Jittanart Limthongkul, son of Sondhi, earlier said that Newin Chidchob was involved in this matter.
Newin reportedly planned to hold a press briefing on this incident today. However, no exact time of the press conference was given.
80.64 percent believed Sondhi’s assassination was due to political conflict, and this would result in more heated politics, according to the Suan Dusit Poll.
10.37 percent thought it was incredible for Sondhi to survive the assassination.
