Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – The government will use aggressive strategies to update foreign countries about the current situation in response to the attack of the anti-government group.
Sathit Wongnongtoei, PM’s Office Minister, said it was the police and prosecutor’s responsibility to bring back Chakrapob Penkair who faced a lese majeste charge.
Chakrapob is one of the leaders of Democratic Alliance Against Dictatorship (DAAD) group and is on the run to escape the legal case.
"We have got ourselves in a safe place and we are setting up an office which we will obviously use to continue the movement," Chakrapob told AFP in a telephone call diverted by an assistant to avoid detection.
Foreign ministry and government’s spokesman were assigned to explain the real situation to other nations.
The red shirts announced to hold a big rally in ten provinces before moving to Bangkok.
Sathit said that was bad news and would put Thailand’s economy in a worse condition.
