Bangkok (Manager Online) - 82.7 percent of people in Bangkok would vote for the new Bangkok Governor although 52.5 percent did not know when the election would be held, according to a poll.

Bangkok University surveyed 1,465 respondents in Bangkok. 47.5 percent knew the election would take place on January 11, 2009.

However, up to 52.5 percent had no idea about the election date.

According to the poll, MR Sukhumbhand Boripat was the most favorite candidate (30.2%), followed by ML Natthakorn Davakula (17.2%), Yuranan Pamornmontri (7.7%), Kaewsan Atipho (4.6%), and Leena Jangjanja (1.4%) respectively.

33.3 percent have not decided yet who they were going to vote for and 3.4 percent would not vote for anyone.
