Bangkok - Interior ministry topped the list since 5,942 complaints were filed against the ministry, according to the Office of the Ombudsman.
18,769 complaints have been sent to the Office of the Ombudsman since 2000. 96.69 percent or 18,148 complaints were dealt with.
Interior ministry topped the complaint list, followed by the Royal Thai Police and education ministry.
Gen Theeradej Meepian, chairman of the Office of the Ombudsman, said people could be sure of the office’s performance since it is an independent agency.
The Office of the Ombudsman is to examine the government’s administration.
