Bangkok - The People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) announced there would be no overnight protest at the Government House from now on.
The PAD leaders agreed that the protesters should stay overnight only at the Don Muang and Suvarnabhumi Airport for their safety.
PAD commentator Anchalee Paireerak told AFP that it was too dangerous for the protesters to stay at the Government House due to repeated attacks.
"All of us have started to move now, we expect to complete the movement this evening."
The PAD has started its rally against Somchai government since May 25. It took control of the Government House on August 26.
The group decided to seize both airports in an attempt to press Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat to resign and give the power back to people.
Though there will be only daytime protest at the Government House, it is not certain whether the PAD will render the place to the government or not.
The PAD has seized the Suvarnabhumi Airport for one week so far.
