Bangkok - Somsak Kosaisuk, one of the People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) leaders, confirmed the PAD would visit any places the government held its cabinet meeting.
He said the PAD would temporarily occupy the Don Muang Airport, the government’s current office, as the cabinet meeting is normally held there.
The atmosphere of the rally was quite busy since the protesters were entertained by music and guest speakers.
PAD leaders such as Somkiat Pongpaibul, Chaiwat Sinsuwong and Amorn Amornrattananont held a meeting to decide what movement the PAD is going to make next.
Government’s spokesman Nattawut Saikua confirmed the cabinet meeting would be held tomorrow.
Interior Minister Kovit Wattana was reportedly assigned to act as a mediator to end the political conflict.
Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat previously told the reporters he would not step down.
He insisted only the people had the right to determine whether the elected government should resign or not.
