Bangkok - Former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra and his wife Pojaman Shinawatra are planning to return to Thailand, according to the People Power Party (PPP)’s Samut Prakan MP Pracha Prasopdee.
Pracha said the couple might come back on either November 25 or December 25.
According to Pracha, Thaksin tended to return to Thailand on December 25 more.
Pracha believed Thaksin would clearly announce his return when making a new phone-in to his supporters on December 13.
He said he was not sure if Pojaman would come back on November 23 or not. He only guessed she would return to Thailand during that time since the Truth Today program would be held at Wat Suankaew.
Pracha thought it was possible Pojaman should attend the program.
Veeraphat Srichaiya, Pojaman’s lawyer, yesterday appealed against the Shin Corp case.
Pojaman was found guilty of tax evasion in the case and was sentenced to three years in prison.
