Bangkok - Former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra will fight for his political future and announce the clear political standpoint in a new phone-in next month, according to the Truth Today program’s organizer Jatuporn.
Jaturon Prompan, Party-List MP from the People Power Party (PPP), revealed the then-premier postponed his new phone-in to December 14.
Thaksin would announce his political standpoint clearly when making another phone-in to his supporters at the Supachalasai Stadium.
It is apparent at this point that the ex-prime minister is planning his political comeback.
The then-premier Samak Sundaravej would also be contacted to speak in the Truth Today program at Wat Suankaew on November 23.
Jatuporn confirmed Thaksin would certainly return to Thailand.
He said that Thaksin’s comeback depended on the situation and could be accelerated if there were another coup.
Thaksin’s lawyer Kamnuan Chalopatham revealed there would be no appeal against the Ratchadapisek land case in which Thaksin got two-year imprisonment.
Jatuporn explained that the establishment of the Building a Better Future Foundation was to help the countries facing economic crisis and poverty problem.
