Bangkok - The number of people killed in floods across Thailand has went up to 18 while 190,000 people have become ill.
Twenty four of seventy six provinces have been flooded since November 11.
18 people were swept away and drowned by flood waters in the north, northeast and central region, according to public health ministry.
The ministry has provided the flood victims with the pharmaceutical supplies to cope with trench foot, cold and skin disease.
839,573 people have been affected, but the flooding situation caused by heavy rains has picked up in 19 provinces, according to the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department.
Economic losses were estimated to reach up to 115 million baht, including damage to homes, bridges, reservoirs, temples and schools.
