Bangkok - The Crocodile Farm in Samut Prakan province prepared its plan to cope with the storm surge.
Anuwat Metheevibulvut, Samut Prakan Governor, revealed a meeting was held to prepare measures to prevent and deal with the storm surge.
Some people were afraid that animals at the zoo would come out to cause harm to people during the storm surge.
Anuwat confirmed that preventive measures were prepared to serve the impending situation.
Five 8-12-inch water pumps and three flatboats were provided to cope with the water disaster.
Bangkok Metropolitan Administration previously gave manuals on how to deal with the storm surge in August.
BMA planned to put the electrical lines underground on some roads such as Ploenchit, Rajaprasong, Rajadamri, Phetchburi, Rama VI, Nakhon Sawan and Sawankalok.
