Bangkok - Bad omen began as the police state tried to crack down the People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) protesters and dismantle their stage.

It seemed the police would turn to the blockage measure before dispersing the demonstrator group.

Many policemen began to dismantle the stage at the Makawan Bridge while the protesters tried to stop them.

Two companies of police with shields and batons were ready to clamp down the PAD group if getting their commander’s order.

Tear gas was also mobilized for the police’s use.

20 PAD security guards were already arrested by the police.

It was reported police tried to stop the ambulance cars from reaching the Government House area.

PAD leaders urged Thai people to join their rally to show the people’s power against the corrupt government.

It was found that the government-supporter group sought the Supreme Administrative Court to close ASTV.
