Bangkok - Thailand’s entrepreneurs nationwide and the product manufacturers in the Great Mekong Subregion have joined to hold booths at the Khon Kaen Expo 2008.
The expo has taken place since July 28 and will run until August 3.
Jet Thanawat, Khon Kaen Governor, revealed entrepreneurs in Thailand and the Great Mekong Subregion have held their booths at the Khon Kaen University’s auditorium.
Highlights were yummy food from all regions of Thailand.
An exhibition on silk for export was also held. Unique products from five southern provinces were presented as well.
Northeastern and southern art and cultural shows were performed at the event too.
The expo is aimed at extending the distribution channels for the entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to learn about marketing for export, and boost trade ties with entrepreneurs in Laos, Vietnam and China.
Not less than 100,000 people are expected to attend the event while not less than 100 million baht to be spent.
