Bangkok - Six Asian cities including Bangkok attended a workshop on infectious diseases yesterday. The workshop is to find measures to cope with contagious illnesses.
The fourth workshop took place at the Arnoma Hotel on July 22 and will run until July 24.
Dr. Wallop Suwandee, Deputy Bangkok Governor, revealed Bangkok was honored to host the workshop.
Eighty medical and public health delegates from Taipei, Hanoi, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur attended the health workshop.
Diseases such as turboculosis, AIDS and bird flu are contagious diseases threatening people’s health.
The results of the meeting would be used for further researches to solve the health problems.
