Bangkok - The People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) delegates made a visit to the interior ministry today’s afternoon to urge the interior minister to work hard to solve people’s problems.
The PAD delegates released two ducks in front of the interior ministry, calling on the Interior Minister Chalerm Yoobamrung to focus on people’s problem solving rather than political arguments.
This is part of the PAD’s measures to stage its mini rallies at major places.
Suriyasai Katasila, PAD’s coordinator, revealed the PAD came to denounce the interior minister as he set conditions which could lead to violence.
Suriyasai also said that a duck is the symbol of a person who knows a lot. But that person does not really know things in detail.
The leaders of the PAD would meet again this evening to evaluate the situation and make further movement.
Pol Maj Gen Surapol Tuanthong, deputy spokesman of the Royal Thai Police, said tight security was applied to the official places to deal with the PAD mini rallies strategy.
