Bangkok - People in Nan, Chiang Rai, Phitsanulok and Phichit province were warned of flash floods and landslide due to continual heavy raining.
People in Nan province got their boats fixed, so that they could use them to travel in and out the village which has been flooded for the third day.
Officials already closed the watergates at five points which link to the Nan River to prevent flood in the municipal zone.
Continual heavy raining took place in Songkwae, Pua and Tha Wang Pha District. As a result, there were increasing amount of water in the Nan River.
People in those districts were urged to deal with the second flood this evening.
In Chiang Rai and Phitsanulok, people’s houses and farming land were damaged after the landslide.
In Phitchit, people who live near the Phetchabun mountain range were also warned of floods.
Continual and heavy raining can still be seen in the north.
