Bangkok - More rain can be expected in the east and upper south of Thailand as the low-pressure mass will come to the upper part of the Gulf of Thailand.

People are warned of heavy rain in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Kirikhan and Chumporn province.

Sea waves in the Gulf of Thailand will be more than two metres high.

Fishermen are also warned to become careful about their sailing in those provinces.

Nakhon Ratchasima province was affected by the southwest storm in May.

As a result, the farming areas in Muang, Soongnoen, Kornburi, Noansoong and Pimai district were flooded.

3,299 farmers were affected by the floods. The crops loss is estimated to value more than 11 million baht.

This is not to mention losses in the fishery and livestock sector. Total loss is more than 12 million.
