Bangkok - PTT Plc plans to stop selling the gasoline 95 and 91 at the end of 2008 and 2009 respectively.

Prasert Bunsumpun, president of PTT Plc, said PTT would turn to sell the gasohol 95 and 91 instead.

The gasohol E20 and E85 will be sold as new alternatives.

Prasert said PTT Plc had to clearly set its plan to serve the cancellation of gasoline 95 by the end of this year.

The company will also have to set its policy to encourage people to use the gasohol E20 and E85 more widely.

Fishermen who were affected by the rising oil prices called for global fuel protest last week.

Thai Airways International plans to raise its fuel surcharges by up to 90 dollars per passenger on international and domestic flights on June 25.
