Bangkok - Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej came to the Prince Palace Hotel to meet with the leaders of the coalition parties, turning angry when seeing the press waiting for him.

The atmosphere at hotel was quite busy.

Chat Thai Party leader Banharn Silpa-archa was the first person to arrive at the hotel.

The premier was clearly discontent and stopped walking as soon as he saw a crowd of reporters.

He even looked angrily at the press for a moment before leaving without giving an interview.

Shocked by Samak’s action, the press wondered what wrong it did.

Pradit Pattaraprasit, Deputy Finance Minister and secretary-general of the Ruamjaithai Chatpattana, and Maj Gen Sanan Kachornprasart, Deputy PM and Chat Thai Party’s adviser both said the premier called the meeting. But they refused to tell what issue will be discussed.

Suwit Khunkitti, Industry Minister and leader of the Puapaendin Party, Anongwan Thepsuthin, Natural Resources and Environment Minister and leader of the Matchima Thipataya Party, Banyin Tangpakorn, Deputy Commerce Minister, Pracharaj Party leader Sanoh Thienthong also joined the meeting.

It was reported Chat Thai Party leader Banharn is considering whether his party should withdraw from the Samak government.
