Bangkok - Chat Thai deputy leader Somsak Prissananantakul confirmed his party still had a good relationship with the People Power Party (PPP).
Somsak, Agriculture Minister, denied Chat Thai Party would withdraw from the coalition government.
He said the political situation became less intense as no violent methods were used with the People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD).
Mr. Choosak Sirinin, PM’ Office Minister, also confirmed that was just a rumor, saying he would further discuss the issue with the party’s senior executives.
He added that the government should study the laws carefully before using the emergency enactment and the security act to end the PAD’s protest.
