Bangkok - The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) argued the People Power Party (PPP)’s spokesman should not leave the traffic problem on it.

The PPP’s spokesman Kuthep Saikrachang previously asked Bangkok Governor Apirak Kosayothin to solve the traffic problem caused by the People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD)’s rally.

Pol Col Pichai Kriangwattanasiri, deputy director of the city police office, said it was the police’s duty to deal with the traffic problem according to the traffic law.

But the BMA is ready to give its full support to the police.

The PAD has staged its protest against the government since May 25, calling for the premier’s resignation and no constitution amendements.

The government tried to persuade the PAD to stop the protest, citing the traffic problem was worsened by the rally.
